Riley Creek is spanned by an Alaska Railroad bridge and is an inspiring view for Alaska Railroad passengers. The autumn color show here peaks about ten days later than the tundra colors higher in the park, often peaking in mid-September. Wind often strips the autumn leaves in a matter of one or two short days.
