Cinnamon Bear Grazing on Dandelions, Alaska #9013
Cinnamon Bear Grazing on Dandelions, Alaska #9013
$25.00 – $255.00
Description
A cinnamon-colored black bear photographed while grazing on dandelions and fresh spring grasses. Black bears are omnivores and will eat most anything. Inland bears, without access to salmon, graze for long hours on new plant growth. They also hunt squirrels, moose calves, dig roots, and eat berries of all kinds. Northern black bears are not as large as their kin in the lower states, especially those found on the East Coast. In the far north, a 250-pound black bear is considered large. The bears are small because of limited forage and a short snow-free season
