Caribou migration, Autumn, Kobuk River, Alaska #6732
$25.00 – $255.00
Description
Caribou have migrated south of the Brooks Range and across the Kobuk River for thousands of years. Until recent years, caribou predictably crossed the Kobuk River at this location each year in late August and early September. Herds of cows and calves came first followed later by mature bulls. Climate change has affected the timing of the migration.
