Brown Bear Evening Alaska, #4451V
$25.00 – $255.00
Description
A large male brown bear in Hallo Bay in Katmai National Park, Alaska. On a late spring evening, the bear paused in grazing on sedges to watch the passage of another brown bear. The spring breeding season had begun to wane, and male bears resumed feeding with new vigor. Until the salmon runs start in mid-summer, brown bears remain mostly vegetarian, sedges a primary food source. In Alaska brown bears and grizzly bears are lumped as one and called brown/grizzly bears, Ursus arctos.
