Description
A three-month-old wolf pup curiously watches a bear passing nearby. Neither the mother nor her litter of four wolf pups displayed any fear or wariness of the photographer watching them play in an Alaska Peninsula meadow. This pup approached quite closely to get a better look at the photographer, the mother seemed unconcerned. Wolves along the coast subsist on a diet gleaned from the sea, including marine mammals.
