Raven Pair, Alaska #1413
Raven Pair, Alaska #1413
$25.00 – $255.00
Description
Ravens nest earlier than other birds in Alaska, often by mid-March. Their courtship rituals begin in late January when snow is still on the ground. Ravens may use the same site year after year, adding to the old nest. Many raven pairs mate for life. When courting, they ride air currents and perform aerial displays and, on the ground, grooming seems to be a bonding ritual.
