Description
A pastel, multicolored Aurora Borealis dances above the Sag River on Alaska’s North Slope in autumn. Varied colors are created by the interaction of charged particles from the sun with gases in the earth’s upper atmosphere. Auroras are visible on almost any clear night on Alaska’s North Slope.
