Description
Portrait of a male mountain goat. Both sexes have horns. Males (called billies) have thicker horns with less space between the horns at the base than the thinner horns of females. Horn lengths are approximately the same in male and female goats of the same age. Male horns curve gradually but the horns of females make an abrupt curve about part way to the tips.
