Description
A bald eagle lands in a snowstorm on a southeast Alaska river. Late season salmon runs lure concentrations of eagles to prime fishing locations. Eagles perch in tall trees or on high points to watch for vulnerable fish but also scavenge the spawned out slmon carcasses. A dip in cold water seems not to dissuade their search for food.
