A rainbow from a summer storm reflected in Nugget Pond, Denali National Park, Alaska. Many rainbows are fleeting but this intense rainbow lasted fully an hour and formed a double arc.

Summer rains are common in the Alaska Range Mountains and over the surrounding tundra and taiga. A storm began to break up at 10pm and the sunlight broke through.
